STILL TIME TO REGISTER! 2006 EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES SUMMIT OCTOBER 26-27
The 2nd Summit on Emerging Technologies in Energy Efficiency will
be held October 26-27, 2006 in Long Beach, California. This is the
one conference on emerging technologies that you don't want to miss,

The "ET Summit" will bring together policymakers, program planners and implementers, researchers, technology developers and manufacturers, and financiers to discuss the latest innovations in energy-efficient technologies and practices for commercial and residential buildings, industry, and demand response.
Twenty-five working sessions have been organized on the key energy-saving technologies and practices entering the market, as well as key policy considerations and strategies for "ET" promotion and commercialization.
An opening plenary each day will feature speakers with regional and California perspectives who will offer a high-level view of the role of "ET" in meeting energy demand, the role of public and private sector players, and the impact of their efforts to date. Dan Cayan, from the Scripps Oceanographic Institute's Climate Research Division, will deliver a luncheon keynote address emphasizing the role of energy-saving technologies in addressing today's energy and climate challenges.
A cocktail reception and live showcase of emerging technologies will be held in conjunction with the "ET Summit" on the evening of October 26th.
The conference is sponsored by Emerging Technologies Coordinating CouncilSouthern California Edison; Southern California Gas Company; San Diego Gas and Electric Company; Pacific Gas and Electric Company; California Energy Commissionand the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority. It is organized by ACEEE.
