National Conference on Building Commissioning
June 3-5, 2009
Seattle, Washington
http://www.peci.org/ncbc/
Please join us at the 2009 National Conference on Building Commissioning. The original commissioning conference, NCBC unites energy efficiency and green building design experts with construction and operations industry professionals to discuss the latest trends and technologies that make commercial buildings work properly and efficiently. This year's conference broadens the platform to include whole building life-cycle energy efficiency and includes the drivers and service providers of energy-efficient building operations. We are excited to bring this larger theme back to the Pacific Northwest as we extend the educational potential "beyond green". This event is an extraordinary opportunity to expand your knowledge of commissioning and to contribute to a more sustainable future.

A Workshop for Graduate Educators in Energy Efficiency
June 25-26, 2009 (Thursday & Friday)
UC Davis
Davis, California
http://eec1.ucdavis.edu/programs/EECevents/EfficiencyEducatorsWorkshop/program-overview
Educators concerned with introducing the concepts of energy efficiency to graduate students will gather to exchange information and ideas on curriculum, resources, and strategies. The concepts may be incorporated in existing courses addressing traditional tropics (such as engineering, economics, or architecture) or to form the basis of new courses focusing on energy efficiency. The short-term goals include developing curricula, textbooks, and other resources to facilitate education. You should attend if you teach graduate courses in energy efficiency or are trying to incorporate some of these concepts into a traditional course or program. A diverse group is expected, including faculty from engineering, economics, public policy, agriculture, physics, business, and environmental science.
