Suzanne Watson joined ACEEE in 2008. She works with all of ACEEE’s program areas (Transportation, Utilities, Industry, Buildings, Behavior, and Economic and Social Analysis) to help set policy priorities. She works with staff and external partners to determine how ACEEE’s analysis and expertise can best be directed to create the policy opportunities needed for optimal outcomes in the interest of ever greater energy efficiency leading to a stronger national economy.

Prior to joining ACEEE, Suzanne was a Governor’s Appointee to lead the Office of Innovation for the Maine Department of Environmental Protection.

Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory/Government from Bowdoin College and a J.D. and Masters of Laws in Intellectual Property Law from Franklin Pierce Law Center.
