Tacoma Power is seeking to fill a vacant position to manage its energy conservation evaluation and market research projects. Position responsibilities include planning, analyzing, interpreting, preparing and presenting quantitative, economic, and business analysis and reports to substantiate evaluations in support of department programs and planning activities. Other duties include developing evaluation protocols and data quality standards; managing complex projects and analysis related to program design, development, and end-use data collection.
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, social sciences, engineering, mathematics, or related field. Course concentration in evaluation or performance measurement and knowledge of utilities, energy efficiency issues and/or residential/commercial/industrial facilities is highly desired. A Master's degree and/or IPMVP Certification is/are preferred. Salary and position title will depend on the successful candidate's experience in managing energy conservation and market research projects.
