Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance

Founded in 2007, SEEA is a nonprofit, nonpartisan 501(c)(3) organization. We are funded through competitive grants awarded by the U.S. Department of Energy, as well as various State Energy Programs. We also receive funding as a result of our partnerships with foundations around the country, and from the SEEA Membership program.

As one of six regional energy efficiency organizations (REEOs), SEEA is part of a strong national network dedicated to leveraging energy efficiency for the benefit of all citizens. While these six organizations vary in region, funding, scope and activities, they collaborate extensively with one another and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to benefit utilities, businesses, consumers and governments throughout the United States.
