ACEEE Summer Study on Energy Efficiency in Industry
Niagara Falls, N.Y.—The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) presented four Champion of Energy Efficiency Awards last night at its Summer Study on Energy Efficiency in Industry. The awards recognize leadership and accomplishment in the energy efficiency field. Winners are selected based on demonstrated excellence in program implementation, research and development, energy policy, or private sector initiatives. The winners for 2013 are:

<p>ACEEE held its eighth biannual conference on industrial energy efficiency from July 25-31. Every discussion--from the morning formal presentations to the afternoon informal sessions to the evening plenaries--were full of valuable information.<br />

The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy's conference will focus on "Cutting the High Cost of Energy" through efficiency. Presentations and discussions will spotlight technical, policy, and program issues related to increasing energy efficiency in industry.
