Additional Informal Sessions may be organized on-site during the Summer
Study.
Session
Synopsis - "Newest Evidence: Industry, Energy Efficiency, and
Productivity Improvements"
Tracy Narel, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, ENERGY STAR
Thursday, July 31
3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
This session will provide a venue for discussing the latest data
on the productivity and other non-energy, business benefits of industrial
energy efficiency measures. EPA will kick-off the discussion by
presenting findings from its latest review of publicly available
case studies, which extends the work of Finman and Laitner (2001).
The latest review concentrates on case studies available from CADDET
and the U.S. DOE Best Practices web site. Participants are encouraged
to bring additional case studies and data to supplement the discussion
and to share.
