Synopsis - "Motor Resource Center Advisory Group Meeting"
Kitt Butler, Advanced Energy
Nicole Kaufman, Advanced Energy
Thursday, July 21
1:30 PM - 3:00 PM
The Motor Resource Center (MRC) is a partnership between Advanced Energy and Washington State University Energy Program. The two organizations combined strengths in June of 2003 to further the development, education, and research of electric motor driven systems as they convert electrical energy into work with an aim of improving efficiency and reliability/productivity. Participating member organizations of the Advisory Group include but are not limited to ACEEE, DOE, EASA, EPA, NYSERDA, CEC, motor manufacturers, utilities, regional energy efficiency advocates and program administrators. There is no cost to participate.
This meeting will be held to update the group on recent activities including the 100 motor study which is being presented in the poster session on July 20. We will share ideas for future projects and solicit input from the advisory group. All MRC Advisory group members at the ACEEE conference are encouraged to attend and the meeting is open to anyone wishing to learn more about the MRC.
