The Making Connections Roundtable Session will showcase
key leaders in the regional CHP Initiatives and Regional Application
Centers, along with national CHP spokespersons, who will discuss
successful CHP technologies, programs, incentives, and policies.
This informal session highlight projects, programs, and policy initiatives
that are working to grow the marketplace for combined heat and power
in states and localities across the country. Audience participants
will be able to not only identify where CHP Initiatives and Application
Centers are currently active, identify opportunities for cooperation,
and share their own experiences with this very important, and growing,
group of energy technologies. Joint initiatives for the future may
be discussed as well as lessons learned and problems to be avoided.
The Roundtable Session is being proposed as an ancillary effort
to the Poster/Display Session on CHP, which will illustrate the
locations, contact person(s), and areas of focus for each of the
Regional Initiatives and Application Centers. Handout materials
for each Initiative and Center will be designed and coordinated
so that Summer Session attendees may see the full panoply of CHP
issues and activities underway throughout the U.S.
