Who
Funded and Organized the Forum?
The
Energy Efficiency Forum was sponsored by 3 partners:
ACEEE, New Energy Capital (NEC), and Financial Research
Associates, LLC (FRA).
New
Energy Capital makes strategic investments
and acquisitions in renewable energy assets, including
wind, biomass, geothermal, photovoltaic, and biofuels,
plus distributed generation assets, producing power
onsite and close to an end user.
New
Energy Capital invests in commercially proven energy
projects rather than newand often unprovenenergy
technologies. Their focus is on acquiring assets that:
- Employ
strong contractual structures and offer attractive
risk-adjusted returns
- Typically,
have a capital cost of less than $20 million and can
be leveraged with project-level debt
- Are
in the development or pre-construction phase
- Are
located within North America
- Offer
attractive economic, reliability and public policy
advantages
NEC
investors are a qualified and limited group of institutions
and pension funds.
Financial
Research Associates, LLC provides the financial
community with access to business information and networking
opportunities. Offering highly targeted conferences,
FRA is a preferred resource for executives and managers
seeking cutting-edge information on the next wave of
