Abstract
This research was conducted
as part of the New York Energy $martsm Cool It!
campaign in order to determine baseline information regarding market
penetration; equipment pricing; and the knowledge, beliefs, and
practices of key market actors concerning energy-efficient commercial
packaged refrigeration equipment. In particular, commercial icemakers,
reach-in refrigerators and freezers, and refrigerated beverage vending
machines were chosen as target types of commercial refrigeration
equipment.
