ACEEE's Communications and Conferences
Goal: Facilitate communication among energy efficiency professionals and inform consumers, businesses, and policymakers about opportunities for improving energy efficiency.
ACEEE organizes one major conference, or Summer Study, each year, alternating between focusing on the buildings and industrial sectors. We believe the Summer Studies are the premier meetings for energy efficiency professionals. These conferences bring together a diverse group of energy efficiency experts from around the world to share their research, program experiences, and ideas. The Summer Studies address a broad array of subjects from technological innovations to changes in the utility industry to energy efficiency program implementation and evaluation.
In addition to the Summer Studies, ACEEE organizes meetings and workshops focusing on topics such as energy efficiency market transformation and energy efficiency and electricity as a resource. These meetings help to advance particular energy efficiency initiatives such as coordinated incentives, procurement, or labeling for specific advanced technologies.
ACEEE publishes books, research reports, and conference proceedings for energy efficiency professionals. We publish proceedings of peer-reviewed papers from our Summer Studies. We also publish and widely disseminate consumer guides to help individuals and businesses save energy and make informed purchasing decisions. Please see http://aceee.org/pubsmeetings/index.htm
