State Scorecards and Tracking
States vary widely in their funding and support of utility-sector energy efficiency programs. Certain states and regions enjoy long records of achievement with such programs, while other states have done little or nothing to fund and implement energy efficiency programs. ACEEE’s Utilities Program periodically tracks individual state level funding and impacts for utility-sector energy efficiency programs---both utility- and non-utility-administered programs. ACEEE’s “Scorecards” and related publications allow ready comparison among state-level efforts and also yield critical data on national status and trends.
