Assist Rebate Center Management in the delivery and administration of existing and new energy efficiency programs by offering internal support for successful implementation of assigned projects. Provide support by assisting Rebate Center Management with trade ally relationships, including managing the trade ally database, trade ally and retailer reporting and outreach and other program management duties as assigned. Analyze complex rebate applications and determine if equipment, measure or service meets the regulatory and program requirements. Interact with equipment manufacturers and distributors to obtain additional information and documentation as needed. Stay current with equipment standards and building codes in all regions. Assist with regulatory reporting by providing the regulatory department with appropriate data, ensuring that all information provided to the regulatory department is supportable. Maintains SAP configuration tables and is the Rebate Center’s primary tester/contact for SAP upgrades and testing. Participate in customer-facing activities by representing CenterPoint Energy at various industry events. Play a key role in the successful implementation and goal achievement for the energy efficiency program.
BA/BS in Communications, Business Administration, or related field or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in energy efficiency program implementation, consumer marketing and/or a sales environment.
- Experience with direct customer, vendor and trade ally communication, spreadsheet analysis, budget reporting and report generation is desired.
- Previous experience in the energy industry, specifically with the implementation of energy efficiency programs is desired.
