POSITION SUMMARY 
We provide our utility clients with a wide range of energy-saving and renewable energy solutions. From individual utility customers and construction contractors, to utilities, municipalities, and government bodies, our clients have come to depend on our customized energy efficiency programs to help them to meet their energy saving goals. 

The Regional HR Generalist is primarily responsible for the oversight of all Human Resource functions for specified area of responsibility (Regional approach), successful recruiting of qualified employees, and overall administrative oversight within the Human Resource Department in accordance with company policies and procedures. You will also be working with others who are passionate about energy efficiency and making a positive impact on the industry.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. 

* Part of a team responsible for carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees within their specified regions  
* A large portion of this job will initially be Recruitment Activities until staff is fully ramped up to meet business needs. This includes sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting phone interviews, working with Hiring Managers to make offers, and finally onboarding new employees.
* Human Resource policy development 
* Assist in the administration of compensation program; help to monitor performance appraisal process and ensuring timely paperwork processing 
* Manage the recruitment and interview process. This includes, sorting resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, managing the recruitment expense spreadsheet 
* Ensure new employee paperwork is complete and it's entered the computerized system 
* Complete the first report of injury forms, ensuring completeness and accuracy 
* Maintain the OSHA log 
* Assist in tracking organizational training and development efforts 
* Enter employee information into Human Resource and Training Database 
* Prepare and distribute Human Resource related paperwork to offices bearing his/her responsibility 
* Coordinate benefit paperwork, ensuring timely and accurate processing of information according to procedures 
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with: 
* Internal management- providing guidance on personnel issues, & 
* Employment agencies, universities, and other recruitment sources 
* Maintain weekly/monthly reports for manager's review 
* Part of a team responsible for establishing and maintaining Franklin's Wellness Program 
* Represent the organization at various events 
* Oversee employee relations issues and conduct terminations as warranted 
* Enter data in the HRIS system as necessary 
* Ensure legal compliance with all State and Federal regulations applicable to states Franklin Energy has established business 
* Assist the department in carrying out various human resources programs 

Education and Experience  
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration  
* Two to three years related Human Resources experience 

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities  
* Strong customer service and communication skills 
* Must be able to handle a wide work variety and work in a fast-paced environment 
* Must be a detail-oriented, organized, self-starter, and have an ability to prioritize workload 
* Ability to identify and resolve project application issues with customers and trade allies 
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook 
* Strong data entry skills in entering information in tracking systems/databases 
* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with customers, clients and employees 
* Ability to analyze and interpret data and solve practical problems 
* Knowledge of mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages and ratios 
* Reliable transportation 

Licenses & Certifications  
* Valid driver's license 

Travel Requirements  
* Willingness to travel up to 25-50% of the time

* Required to sit, stand, walk; talk and hear; and ability to touch and handle tools and/or controls 
* Ability to lift up to 10 pounds 
* Noise Level is typically moderate
