Washington, D.C. — The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) today announced its commitment to the National Action Plan for Energy Efficiency, developed by a Leadership Committee under the sponsorship of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy. The Plan seeks to assist states, utilities, and others to renew and expand energy efficiency programs for customers of gas and electric utilities.

The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy's conference will focus on "Cutting the High Cost of Energy" through efficiency. Presentations and discussions will spotlight technical, policy, and program issues related to increasing energy efficiency in industry.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) is pleased to announce its new report profiling 63 energy efficiency programs selected from around the country for their "best practices." These 63 programs are spread across 20 different program categories, ranging from commercial new construction to residential lighting. ACEEE selected these programs from over 130 programs nominated in a national search.
