Texas, among the fastest growing states in the country, is facing an energy crisis as it strives to meet its electricity needs. This report reviews energy projections; assesses the potential for energy efficiency, combined heat and power, demand response and renewable energy; and proposes a suite of policies that could meet the state’s growing energy needs.
