This 1993 ACEEE-organized workshop provided a forum for representatives of industry, government, utilities, academia, and the public interest community to discuss program and policy issues related to improving industrial energy efficiency. The proceedings papers cover, energy efficiency as a competitiveness strategy; design of effective utility and government energy-efficiency programs value of energy intensity reports and targets; how to build partnerships to promote energy efficiency; and how to implement energy efficiency projects within a company. Summaries of round-table discussions are included.
