In 2007 ACEEE conducted its second national review of exemplary energy efficiency programs. This project sought to recognize and profile outstanding utility-sector energy efficiency programs that help customers lower their energy costs and reduce their energy use through improved energy efficiency. An expert panel selected a total of 90 programs across 20 different program categories to be recognized from a large set of nominations received. This report describes the review and selection of these programs, as well as drawing out overall observations on characteristics of exemplary programs. A detailed appendix includes summary profiles of all 90 programs selected. Note: Links to the appendices are currently disabled. The appendix content related to low-income programs is available here.
