Hispanic, Latinx people, Black people, and women are underrepresented in the energy efficiency workforce. Efficiency program administrators can play an important role in increasing access for these workers and students and prepare them for efficiency jobs. In this webinar ACEEE presents findings from a new report on inclusive energy efficiency workforce development programs from utilities and efficiency program administrators. Staff from the New York Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA) and District of Columbia Sustainable Energy Utility (DCSEU) joined to share their firsthand experiences administering workforce development programs.
